A Nonprofit ED, a program director and a fundraiser walk into a bar.
The bartender says, "What'll you have?"
The ED says, "Just let me run that by the board."
The program director says, " More than we have now."
The fundraiser says, "Whatever feels right to you as long as it is transformational. Did I mention that we can put your name on the glass?"
Humor is an amazingly effective way to make sure your message cuts through the clutter, but it can also fall flat.
