My name is Ken Wells. I founded StoryBoard HTX because I've sat in the nonprofit executive's chair and know how hard it is to run a successful communications strategy on a shoestring budget. As I watched larger nonprofits do amazing jobs at telling their stories. I realized there was a need for smaller organizations to tell their story cost effectively.

Ken Wells brings a Swiss army knife set of skills and experience to StoryBoard HTX. Communications have always been at the heart of his career. Beginning as a television reporter, he honed the craft of video storytelling. He put his communications skills to work:

With nonprofit charities and trade associations, where successful communications were critical to informing boards, supporters and volunteers, working with the media, and being an advocate with government officials;

In the private sector, creating training and seminar workshops in the energy industry; and

As an entrepreneur, consulting with clients on brand awareness, developing systems approaches to safety and training workshops.
Most recently, as President and CEO of Cherish Our Children Inc., he was responsible for creating, expanding and funding a new approach to helping children of incarcerated parents navigate the difficult middle school years.
